WHAT IS COMPUTER?

Computer is an electronic device (machine) that is designed to work with Information. The term computer is derived from the Latin term ‘Compute’, this means to calculate or programmable machine. Computer can not do anything without a Program. It 

represents the decimal numbers through a string of binary digits. The Word 'Computer' usually refers to the Center Processor Unit plus Internal memory.

Charles Babbage  is called the "Grand Father" of the computer. The First mechanical computer designed by Charles Babbage was called Analytical Engine. It uses read-only memory in the form of punch cards.

Input (Data): Input is the raw information entered into a computer from the input devices. It is the collection of letters, numbers, images etc.

Process: Process is the operation of data as per given instruction. It is totally internal process of the computer system.

Output: Output is the processed data given by computer after data processing. Output is also called as Result. We can save these results in the storage devices for the future use.

कंप्यूटर एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण (मशीन) है जिसे सूचना के साथ काम करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। कंप्यूटर शब्द लैटिन शब्द "Compute "से लिया गया है, इसका मतलब गणना करने योग्य मशीन या प्रोग्राम करने योग्य मशीन है। बिना प्रोग्राम के कंप्यूटर कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता है। यह द्विआधारी अंकों की एक स्ट्रिंग के माध्यम से दशमलव संख्याओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। शब्द 'कंप्यूटर' आमतौर पर केंद्र प्रोसेसर इकाई प्लस आंतरिक मेमोरी को संदर्भित करता है।



चार्ल्स बैबेज को कंप्यूटर का "ग्रैंड फादर" कहा जाता है। चार्ल्स बैबेज द्वारा डिजाइन किए गए पहले मैकेनिकल कंप्यूटर को एनालिटिकल इंजन कहा जाता था। यह पंच कार्ड के रूप में रीड-ओनली मेमोरी का उपयोग करता है।

प्रक्रिया: प्रक्रिया दिए गए निर्देश के अनुसार डेटा का संचालन है। यह कंप्यूटर सिस्टम की पूरी तरह से आंतरिक प्रक्रिया है।

आउटपुट: आउटपुट डाटा प्रोसेसिंग के बाद कंप्यूटर द्वारा दिया जाने वाला संसाधित डेटा है। आउटपुट को परिणाम भी कहा जाता है। हम भविष्य में उपयोग के लिए भंडारण उपकरणों में इन परिणामों को बचा सकते हैं।
